TOKYO, Japan - Teruyuki Minoura, president of Daihatsu Motor Co., poses with the remodeled Tanto minivehicle, which was put on sale on Dec. 17. It marks the first complete model change since the Tanto was released in November 2003. The remodeled car features a sliding rear passenger door. The lack of a support column between the front and rear passenger doors provides wider access for passengers and luggage.
